The Department of Shellfish Sanitation will be conducting a shoreline area survey along the Rappahannock River from Towles Point to Deep Creek. The survey will include all properties that have a drainage impact on shellfish.
The survey will begin in mid-May and is expected to be completed by mid-July. The personnel involved will display their credentials, and the vehicles used will be marked or displaying state license plates.
